🎒 What to Bring
To make the most of your Fez day trip, we recommend bringing the following:
- Comfortable walking shoes
– You’ll be exploring on foot through cobbled alleys and uneven terrain.
- Sun protection
– Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat are essential, especially in the warmer months.
- Reusable water bottle
– Stay hydrated throughout the day.
- Light jacket or layers
– Mornings can be cool, especially in autumn and spring; layering is ideal.
- Camera or smartphone
– You’ll want to capture the medina’s vibrant scenes, architectural gems, and sweeping views.
- Cash in Moroccan dirhams (MAD)
– For small purchases, souvenirs, or entrance fees (many places do not accept cards).
- Personal medication
– If you have specific medical needs, please bring any necessary medications or supplies.
- Respectful clothing
– While not strictly required, dressing modestly (shoulders and knees covered) is appreciated, especially when entering religious or traditional spaces.
